Welcome to CS 14! Below are all of the links that matter for this course. Be sure to check the course home page (this page) frequently (daily, at least) for announcements. Begin by reading the Course information page, as you are responsible for knowing the understanding everything stated on that page. All assignments will be posted on the Assignments page, and there will be a substantial amount of important information posted on the Documents page.
Apr-5: I've posted, on the Documents page, the solution to the last problem from the mid-term exam (the only one that we did not cover in class).
Mar-4: Remember the fast-multiplication circuit that confused us (most of all me) today? See the book, page 182, and notice that it is incorrect! Specifically, look at the top-most adder -- the multiplicand is potentially added to itself without accounting for the need to shift the left value to the left by one. We will discuss the circuit again on Monday and see how to fix it -- I expect you to be prepared by bringing your best ideas on how to do it right!
Mar-4: Interested in working for Curricular Computing Services (part of the IT department) during this summer? Check out their summer intern program.
