May-09: At long last, and long overdue, the mid-term #2 has been graded. I will email more details about that soon. In the meantime, you may check out the mid-term #2 solutions (which, of course, also include the questions themselves).
May-06: Because many people could not quite remember all of the details laid out last week during lab for the new assignment, I have posted a document for Project 7.
Apr-22: Thanks to a couple of you, who through the careful reading found a couple of mistakes and an omission in the description of our current project. So, I have posted Revision 1 of Project 6. Please be sure that you are working with this most recent revision.
Apr-20: Although slightly more tardy than I would have liked to be about it, Project 6 is now posted and ready for your attention.
Apr-16: I am sick once again. Labs are cancelled for today. However, I will post Project 6 soon -- likely over the weekend. Watch for an announcement about its posting, and get to work on it ASAP. It is a two week project, so we will spend next week's lab time on it.
Apr-10: Many of you have asked for more time on Project 5b, in some form or another. Those who submitted solutions by the deadline -- Friday, April 09 -- will receive full credit for their work. You may, however, submit work on this project (using the project name of project-5b-extended for the cs11-submit command) by Thursday, April 15, 11:59 pm for partial credit. If you submitted something incomplete by the deadline, feel free to submit additional work for partial credit; whichever of the two yields more total points will be attributed to your grade.
